Details: Please join Vermont Foodbank staff to sort, repack and fill food boxes at the Foodbank distribution center in Barre to ensure that plenty of food is ready for delivery the following Monday morning. Specific registration information can be found below.

Please plan to show up by 7:50 AM.
Each volunteer will receive a confirmation email with additional information about what to wear, what to bring and where we are located. Volunteers should wear closed-toe-and-heel shoes and comfortable clothing. The warehouse can get chilly, so bringing layers is recommended. Valuables should be left at home or locked in your vehicles, and due to somewhat limited parking, it’s helpful if some of your team tries to carpool, when convenient. If you plan on bringing water, please make sure it is in a soft plastic bottle. There is a no smoking policy, so volunteers will be asked to take smoking breaks outside the perimeter of the Vermont Foodbank property. Activities do include lifting at least 30 pounds and standing on your feet for two hours.
