We will be creating a BOOK NOOK at the Family Shelter this October and November. We will be providing items for both Family Shelters but will be creating only one BOOK NOOK.
The Junior League of Champlain Valley will be painting a hallway at one of the Family Shelters and turning it into a warm and cozy reading nook. We will also be providing the shelves, wall hangings, and throw pillows for two of the Family Shelters. If you are creative then this is the project for you!
Five Members are needed at the Family Shelter. Three will paint the space and two will take measurements and shop for items. Jill will pick up all painting supplies for this project. Members who shop will be given a budget and a reimbursement form that morning. Shoppers need to come look at the space but do not need to shop that day. Shopping must be completed and items given to Jill no later than Thursday November 3rd
COTS is asking that we do not provide books as they have plenty but would love for us to organize the books!
Members are encouraged to wear JLCV Hats and/or Shirts
