Nicole Potestivo is an energetic spirit from Staten Island, NY and has called Burlington, VT home since September 2012. Her educational goals and love for the outdoors brought her to the Green Mountain State. Nicole completed a Masters of Education in Higher Education & Student Affairs Administration at the University of Vermont in May 2015. She currently serves as the Assistant Director for Campus Programs in the UVM Office of Student Life. Her personal and professional interests include community engagement, leadership development, and restorative practices. Central to Nicole’s work are relationships, and she deeply believes that building and strengthening personal relationships can be transformational to any task at hand. Nicole stays involved with the Burlington community through volunteering with the Peace & Justice Center and enjoying drop-in dance classes, local running groups, and live music.
